Florida police searching for killer of Jamaican woman

2012-12-24 12:24:33 | (0 Comments)

Police in West Palm Beach Florida are still searching for the gunman who shot and killed a Jamaican woman on Saturday.

Forty-one-year-old Amaria Grant was shot three times in the head while riding a bicycle shortly after midday.

The attacker is described as a black man who is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, between 140 and 160 pounds, about 20 to 40 years old.

Residents from the community in which the woman worked as a nanny, believe the shooting was targeted.

The police say the victim and the attacker argued before the woman was shot.

Police spokesman Captain David Bernhardt says a motive has not yet been established for the shooting.
