NewsProbe intensifies into cop’s killing2012-12-24 14:29:11 | (0 Comments)
The St. Ann Police have intensified its probe into the murder of Corporal Ranford Durrant, who was killed by gunmen in the parish last Monday.
Durrant was attacked in the Windsor community while he was visiting the mother of his child. Head of the St. Ann Police, Superintendent Dudley Scott, said more investigators have been added to the cases. Superintendent Scott adds that the police have also stepped up their manhunt for the two men, who are suspected to have been behind the attack on Corporal Durrant. They are Anthony Brown o/c ‘Bowie’, ‘Throat’, ‘Puss’ and ‘Taliban’ and another man known only as ‘Kevin’. The police say Brown was one of the men who escaped from police lock up in November. Superintendent Scott has repeated his appeal for the men to turn themselves in to the St. Ann’s Bay Police or the nearest Police Station immediately.
