NewsThree Jamaicans reportedly killed in New Jersey crash2012-12-28 09:24:32 | (0 Comments) ![]() Three family members from Atlanta were killed in a crash involving a tractor-trailers on the New Jersey Turnpike in Mount Holly on Thursday. (photo courtesy of 6ABC.com in Philadelphia.) According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, an 18-year-old family member survived and was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The police said a tractor-trailer hit the back of a Toyota Camry around 10 a.m. on Thursday near Mount Laurel, N.J. Reports are the Camry’s driver, 51-year-old Ainsworth Mallett, who operated the Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill on Rockbridge Road, his wife 49-year-old Jacqueline Mallett, and their 12-year-old son, Drew Mallett, were all pronounced dead at the scene. A dog in the Toyota was also killed, according to authorities. The police said a second car was also involved in a minor way, and a second tractor-trailer swerved to avoid the accident. The drivers of the other vehicles were not injured. The New Jersey State Police are still investigating.
