Drought affects water supply in Hanover

2013-01-03 12:32:36 | (0 Comments)

The National Water Commission says a prevailing drought has led to a disruption in water supply to sections of Hanover.

However, the commission said it will continue to truck water to customers served by the Kendal Pumping Station and the Logwood Treatment Plant.

The affected areas include Westland Mountain, West End, Orange Hill, Mt. Airy, Good Hope, New Hope, Nompriel, Kingsvale, Pell River, Cauldwell, Archwell, Cave Valley, Cove, Friendship and Green River.

The NWC said Cessnock, Lower and Upper Rock Spring, Kendal Top and Grange are also affected.
