Police kill three, seize illegal guns, ammo

The police are confirming the fatal shooting of three men close to the intersection of Arcadia Drive and Evans Avenue at approximately 12:30 p.m. today in the St Andrew North Division.

The names of the men are being withheld at this time.

The police say two illegal guns and a quantity of ammunition were also seized in the incident.

The illegal weapons are a MAC-10 submachine gun and a 9mm pistol along with 12 9mm cartridges.

The incident has been reported to the Independent Commission of Investigations.
