Illegal firearms seized in Old Harbour

The Old Harbour Police in St Catherine say they have seized three guns and taken several persons into custody.

It's reported that about 6 o'clock yesterday evening, police personnel conducted a raid in Old Harbour Glades.

An AK47 rifle and two handguns were allegedly seized during the raid.

The Gleaner/Power 106 news centre has been told that the police are continuing their investigations and will question those detained in the presence of their attorneys.
