Legislation outlawing the lottery scam could be passed by March.

That announcement came this morning from national security minister Peter Bunting.

Bunting said a draft document called the Law Reform Fraudulent Transaction Special Provision bill has already been completed.

The draft bill, Bunting said will be tabled by next month and should be ready a month later.

Jamaica does not have legislation that outlaw the lottery scam which has been blamed for hundreds of murders.
