Jamaica Labour Party Leader Andrew Holness says the Opposition will soon present its alternative economic plan.

Holness was speaking at a press conference yesterday at the end of a one-day JLP Officers' retreat.

In the meantime, the Opposition Leader says this year, he will consult with all sector groups as well as the general public so that the Opposition can adequately represent their views.

According to Mr Holness, already he has scheduled a meeting with the president of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica for January 29 and other talks are being set up.

He also reported that the matter of party financing and campaign financing remain critical.

The JLP Leader says the party will be putting in place mechanisms to ensure that the measures are smoothly integrated.

He says the JLP will be implementing a system to ensure that its members are able to contribute to the party with ease.
