A policeman was seriously injured and a man killed following an incident in St Thomas last evening. Head of the St Thomas Police, Superintendent Merrick Watson says the policeman has been hospitalised with several broken bones. His identity has not been released. Watson says the identity of the man has not yet been ascertained. Watson also says he is still awaiting a report on the circumstances that led to the killing.
