Three remanded for soldier's murder

Three men charged with murder of a member of the Jamaica Defence Force were today remanded when they appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court.

Gevena Bryan, Paul Thompson and Mario Dunn all of Spanish Town St Catherine are accused of the murder of Leachim Whyte, 19.

When the matter came up before Resident Magistrate Simone Wolfe-Reece the men were ordered to reappear on February 5.

Whyte's body was dug from a shallow grave in New Nursery, Spanish Town in December, 2012.
