NWC warns of water supply disruption in Corporate Area

The National Water Commission (NWC) says customers served by the Constant Spring Treatment Plant will experience a disruption in their water supply between 9 o'clock tonight and 4 a.m tomorrow and then between 9 a.m and 7 p.m.

The NWC says tonight’s disruption is as a result of technical difficulties being experienced at the plant, while tomorrow's disruption is necessary facilitate repairs to a turbine at its Hydro Plant which has become defective.

Areas that will be impacted by this planned downtime include:

Constant Spring
Norbrook
Cherry Gardens
Havendale
Half Way Tree
Lady Musgrave
Liguanea
Manor Park
Shortwood Road
Graham Heights
Aylsham
Allerdyce
Acadia
White Hall Gardens
Belgrade
Kingswood
Riva Ridge
Eastwood Park Gardens
Hughenden
Stillwell Road
Grants Pen

The National Water Commission is encouraging customers in the affected areas to store water for the periods of disruption.
