CMC – Police have shot and killed the brother of St. Kitts-born world champion sprinter, Kim Collins.
It’s reported that 40-year-old Callustus Collins was shot after police were called to residence, where his estranged wife was stabbed. Police said that Collins wife, who is recuperating in hospital, had taken a restraining order out on her husband. No other details were released. According to media reports, Kim Collins, who won the World Championship 100 metres title in 2003, was due to go head-to-head with British sprinter Dwain Chambers over 60m at the British International meeting in Glasgow on Saturday.
