Singer Wayne Marshall is praying for a boy when his wife Tami Chynn gives birth later this year.

The affable couple is now in Montego Bay, St James ahead of tonight’s opening of the 2013 Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival at the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium in Rock, near Florence Hall Trelawny.

"I would like a boy, but don't tell Tami," said Wayne, who already has a son.

But Tami has no preference.

"All I want is a healthy baby," she said.

Tami will perform tomorrow night at the Jazz Festival.

Tonight’s Acts:
Cocoa Tea
Rootz Underground
Third World Band
Pluto Shervington
Eric Donaldson
Lovindeer
Ken Boothe
Nadine Sutherland
