CVM appoints Andrew McGlone as new CEO

Andrew McGlone has been appointed CEO of CVM Television, effective January 21, 2013.

McGlone has more than 15 years experience in the IT and media industry, and has lived and worked in Europe, Africa, North America and the Caribbean.

He replaces Al Edwards who resigned last August after only a few months in the post.

“We are excited about having Andrew on board, with his practical experience in the digital media sphere. He will no doubt be an asset to the industry and CVM in stewarding the station toward its goal of being fully digital by 2015,” said Wayne Chen, CVM chairman.

“We have searched extensively for the right person with a combination of practical experience in production, digital experience and the ability to transform a business – we have found that in Andrew and are very pleased to have him on board,” said Shamena Khan, Director.
