Double murder in Spanish Town

Police personnel are now at the scene of a double murder in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

Those killed have been identified as entertainer Bummy Ranks and a man known as Sam of St Johns Road.

It is reported that about 3 o'clock explosions were heard.

The police were summoned and checks later revealed that the two were shot and killed.

The incident has left the community of 54 St Johns Road tense.
