Water woes affect St Catherine and St Andrew

2013-01-25 12:53:54 | (0 Comments)

Sections of St. Catherine and St. Andrew are now without water.

The National Water Commission said this is because of a broken main along the Rio Cobre pipeline.

The NWC said this is affecting water supply to communities in Portmore, Spanish Town Road and all roads leading off, sections of downtown Kingston, Washington Boulevard and all roads leading off, Kent Village, and Molynes Road and all roads leading off.

The NWC said its work crew is carrying out repairs to the broken main in an effort to have the water supply restored later today.
