Motorcylist dead, policewoman injured in Clarendon crash

A motorcyclist is dead and a policewoman is in hospital following a crash along the Toll Gate main road in Clarendon this morning.

The dead man has been identified as 59-year-old farmer, Fitzroy Jennings of a McGill Crest Pen address in Clarendon.

The injured policewoman is a constable attached to the Manchester Police Division.

She was off duty at the time of the crash.

It’s reported that Jennings was travelling towards Mandeville and while attempting to make a turn at the Cool Oasis Service Station he collided with a Nissan Cube motor car which was being driven by the policewoman.

They were taken to the May Pen Hospital where Jennings died while undergoing treatment and the policewoman was admitted in a stable condition.
