Crooked river repair work begins

2013-01-30 10:15:22 | with audio | (0 Comments)

The National Works Agency (NWA) says motorists using the roadway from Crooked River to May Pen in Clarendon should travel on that roadway in greater comfort in a matter of weeks.

The NWA's Manager of communications and customer services, Stephen Shaw, said the plans by the agency to build a box culvert to divert the crooked river from further eroding the road will soon be implemented.

He added that workmen are now conducting back filling activities in preparation for the roadway to be laid across the culvert.
