The police constable who was involved in a motor vehicle crash in Manchester, just under a week ago has died.
Twenty-four-year-old Constable Richard Johnson, who was attached to the Mobile Reserve Division in Manchester died at hospital about 1 o'clock this afternoon, from injuries he sustained, following a motor vehicle crash on Wednesday, January 30. Reports from the Mandeville Traffic Department are that about 7.00 p.m., Constable Johnson was driving a Honda motorcycle when he collided with a Nissan Sentra motor car. He sustained multiple injuries and was hospitalised. Meanwhile, Commissioner of Police, Owen Ellington expressed condolences to Constable Johnson's family and colleagues.
