National Security Minister Peter Bunting has described as ridiculous the suggestion that statements by Prime minister Portia Simpson Miller have put Opposition Leader Andrew Holness in danger.

Yesterday, opposition spokesman on national security, Delroy Chuck, wrote to the Commissioner of Police, saying Simpson Miller's query about whether Holness is an enemy of the state puts him in danger.

However, Bunting says the Prime minister was merely making a query based on statements by Holness, which he says are unpatriotic and can only serve to impact the country in a negative way.

He is suggesting Chuck is wasting the police commissioner's time.

The People's National Party Youth Organisation says the Opposition is grossly irresponsible.
