Beware of perfume sellers warns police

2013-02-02 09:02:36 | (0 Comments)

The Police are advising members of the public to be very careful when purchasing products on the streets especially perfumes.

The police say they are issuing the warning based on information received that unscrupulous persons are selling perfumes and are asking interested persons to smell paper or other paraphernalia, laced with drugs.

They say this allows the perpetrators to rob and commit other crimes against incapacitated customers.

Anyone who has been a victim of or has seen this crime take place is being asked to contact Crime Stop at 311 or 811, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.
