Twenty-five Haitians landed near Kensington in Portland shortly before 6 o'clock this morning.

The group comprised four boys, three girls, 16 adult males and two adult females.

The police say the immunization card of one of the three girls indicates that she was born here in Jamaica.

Meanwhile, according Silbert Davis of the Ministry of Health, the Haitians appeared to be in good health.

The Haitians have reportedly said they left their homeland on Monday on route to the United States, but landed here.
