Emergency surgeries only at Mandeville Hospital

The health ministry has informed it will only be conducting emergency surgeries at the Mandeville Regional Hospital in Manchester over the next two days.

It says this is because it is renovating the roof of the facility's Main Operating Theatres.

The ministry says the work will seriously hamper its surgical activities.

The ministry has advised members of the public to utilise the services of other hospitals where convenient.
