NewsDrought forces nightly water lock-off for Corporate Area2013-02-06 18:07:07 | (0 Comments)
The National Water Commission (NWC) says it will be imposing nightly restrictions at the Constant Spring Water Supply System, which serves a significant percentage of the Corporate Area population.
According to the NWC, the Constant Spring Water Supply facility will be shut down 10 o'clock nightly and operations are to resume at 4 o'clock each morning. The NWC says this planned downtime in operation has become necessary as inflows from the Hermitage Dam raw water system continues to drop by as much as 1.5 million gallons a day.
