Four killed in St James, Westmoreland

Four men were shot and killed by the police in separate incidents in the parishes of St James and Westmoreland yesterday.

The Constabulary Communication Network (CCN) says three firearms were also seized.

CCN says two of the men have been identified as 27-year-old Nicholas Mitchell, of Norwood, in St James and 20-year-old Johnoy Glaze, of Brighton District, in Westmoreland.

According to CCN, the four men were fatally shot during confrontations with the police in Norwood and Brighton District yesterday.

The Independent Commission of Investigations is probing both incidents.
