NewsNWC says longer wait for Westmoreland communities2013-02-11 10:17:42 | (0 Comments)
Some Westmoreland communities will have to wait longer to get back their regular water supply.
Residents of Barneyside, Cornwall Mountain, Lambs River, Mount Stewart and Stuie have been without water for several days because of problems at the National Water Commission’s Barneyside facility. The NWC had promised to repair the plant by last Friday. However, the Commission says it has encountered new challenges which have forced it to delay the restoration deadline to this Friday. The NWC says in the meantime, it will continue to truck water to the affected communities radio@gleanerjm.com Source: The Gleaner/Power 106 News Send your images, videos and updates to youreport@gleanerjm.com | Click here to Comment Your Comments
