Man charged for killing Portmore woman

A man has been charged in connection with the murder of 23-year-old Britney Mighty, whose body was found in Port Royal on January 31.

The accused has been named as Lloyd Bennett.

The police say he was charged last week.

Britney, who was employed to the University of Technology, was reported missing on January 27 when she failed to return to her Portmore, St. Catherine home.

Her decomposed body was found four days later buried under stone and grass in a section of Port Royal.
