Neville McCook is dead

Neville 'Teddy' McCook is dead.

McCook, who had been ailing for some time, died this afternoon at University Hospital of the West Indies.

He was 73.

McCook was a Marketing Consultant and Sports Administrator by profession.

At the time of his passing, he was the president of the North America, Central America and the Caribbean Track & Field Association and is a former president of Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association.

He was also an IAAF Council member and served on several IAAF committees.
