St Lucia: Policeman in custody for helping prisoner to escape

The police in St Lucia have detained one of their colleagues for questioning in relation to the escape of a 22-year-old Jamaican.

They say the Jamaican, named as Miguel Garnett, was wanted on attempted murder charges.
He’s said to be armed and extremely dangerous.
