Man on murder charge remanded

Twenty-three year-old Lloyd Bennett who is charged for the murder of his girlfriend Brittney Mighty was remanded when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrates Court yesterday.

The accused was also denied bail.

He is scheduled to return to court on February 25.

The body of the 23-year-old woman was found in a section on Port Royal on January 31, four days after she was reported missing.
