St Lucia: Jamaican man turns self in to police

The Jamaican man who was wanted in St. Lucia in connection with the murder of a Canadian has turned himself over to the police.

The St. Lucia police say Miguel Garnett surrendered early yesterday morning.

Garnett who is also known as Deno B’Jorn had escaped from the Vieux Fort Police Station last Friday.

Meanwhile, a Police Constable who was arrested under suspicion of aiding and abetting Garnett’s escape was remanded when he appeared in court yesterday.
