Mayor of Kingston, Senator Angela Brown Burke, says the Kingston and St. Andrew Corporation (KSAC) will be cracking down on illegal signs and billboards erected in the Corporation.

Senator Brown Burke said the KSAC’s compliance teams will soon be hitting the streets to remove signs which were put up without the requisite approval.

She says the Corporation has been battling this issue for some time adding that strong action must be taken.

The Kingston mayor is appealing to persons to regularize their signs and billboards to avoid facing fines.
