Police capture suspect in murder of 16-year-old schoolgirl

The main suspect in the murder of 16-year-old Martha Byrowe of Albion, Manchester was this morning apprehended by the police in White Sand district, Cambridge, St James.

Byrowe was killed on the night of Tuesday, February 12.

The suspect has been identified as 33-year-old Sebastian Salmon, otherwise called ‘Bruce’, a construction worker of Albion district in Manchester and White Sand district.

Byrowe’s body was found in a room of a house occupied by her and Salmon on Wednesday of this week.

The police say the body had multiple stab wounds.

The police say one of Salmon's relatives was also taken into custody but the individual’s identity is being withheld pending further investigation.
