NWC says longer wait for St. James communities

2013-02-18 08:53:55 | (0 Comments)

St James residents in the communities of Worcester, Johns Hall, Black Shop, Lottery and Potosi will have to wait another week before they get back their regular water supply.

The National Water Commission says it has encountered further challenges at that the Worcester Pumping Station which will require further repair work.

The NWC had previously advised that it would have had the plant back in operation by Friday.

However, the agency says it was unable to meet that deadline.

The NWC says water will continue to be trucked to the affected communities.
