'Richie B' moves to MELLO FM

Broadcaster Richard 'Richie B' Burgess is to join the Montego Bay-based radio station MELLO FM on Monday March 4.

'Richie B' will be the new host of the morning programme, MELLO Daybreak.

Errol Smith, current host of the programme has been promoted to news and sports director.

MELLO FM started in December 2003 as a limited area commercial radio station covering western Jamaica.

In 2010 the station went island wide.

'Richie B', a longstanding broadcaster with over 25 years experience, left Hot 102 FM a week ago.

He was the host of the afternoon programme 'The Hot Mix'.
