Water disruption affects St Andrew communities

2013-02-19 10:15:11 | (0 Comments)

The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers served by the Mona Water Treatment Plant, that they will experience a disruption in supply between 8 o’clock this morning and 6 o’clock in the evening.

The NWC says this interruption is to facilitate shifting of power supply from an old switchboard to a new one.

These works are associated with the Inter-American Development Bank funded Kingston Water and Sanitation Project.

The areas to be affected include Mona Heights, Liguanea, Ravinia, Beverly Hills, Hope Pastures, Gordon Town, Papine, Elletson Flats and August Town.

The NWC is encouraging customers to store water for use during the period of disruption.
