UPDATE: Toddler killed at home in motor vehicle accident

The St Catherine Police are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a toddler, after she was run over by a van at her home in Cedar Grove, Portmore this morning.

She has been identified as two-year-old Kimberly Trottman, otherwise called 'Tutu' of Lignum Vitae Way, Cedar Grove, Portmore.

A number of persons including relatives wept openly, after hearing about little Kimberly's demise.

The police report that the toddler was hit after she walked out in the path of the van while it drove off.

The incident occurred shortly after 10'o clock.

The driver of a cable company had gone to the house to undertake cable installation.
