The West Indies are now eyeing a 3-0 series clean sweep over Zimbabwe after scoring a seven-wicket victory in the second game at the National Stadium in Grenada yesterday.
As a result of the victory, the West Indies will take a 2-0 lead going into the final game scheduled for tomorrow at the same venue. Ramnaresh Sarwan hit an undefeated 120, his highest One-Day International score as the Windies reached the victory target of 274 with an over to spare and seven wickets in hand. The 32-year-old struck nine fours and two sixes in a composed innings that required 143 balls. Zimbabwe had made 273 for 8 in their 50 overs with Craig Ervine top-scoring with 80. Stand-in captain Dwayne Bravo became only the eighth West Indies bowler to claim six or more wickets in an One-Day International. He finished with 6 for 43 from his 10 overs.
