Fire destroys three-bedroom house in St James

Fire of unknown origin destroyed a three-bedroom house in Spring Mount, St. James yesterday.

The incident occurred about 3.00 a.m.

No one was injured in the blaze.

Police report that the occupants were at home when they heard a noise coming from the back of the house.

Upon investigation, they saw a section of the house on fire and alerted the police.

A unit from the fire department extinguished the blaze.

The loss has not yet been ascertained.
