Currency rates update - February 27: $97.12 to US$1

The Jamaican dollar lost $0.13 against the United States dollar to close at $97.12 at the close of trading today.

It lost $1.86 against the Canadian dollar when compared with the average selling rate on Monday, but gained $0.56 against the British Pound Sterling.

The gains and losses are based on the average selling rates.
