Senior Superintendent Glenford Hudson, who chairs the Association says as part of the offer there would have been a three-year wage freeze until 2015. However, SSP Hudson says members cannot agree to this term as it would be economically devastating. He says the matter of pension reform will be among the issues discussed when his members next meet with Finance Ministry officials. SSP Hudson says the Police Officers' Association is aware of the need for the Government to complete negotiations with public sector groups ahead of next month's meeting of the International Monetary Fund.
