Expect delays on Old Stony Hill Road today

2013-02-28 09:10:27 | (0 Comments)

The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising that as of today, motorists using Old Stony Hill Road in St. Andrew will experience delays.

Communication and Customers Services Manager at the NWA, Stephen Shaw, says over the next three weeks, the Agency will be working to improve the driving conditions along Old Stony Hill Road.

He says motorists should expect delays daily between the 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The $11 million project involves the bushing of verges and the patching and local rehabilitation of sections of the roadway.

Motorists are being advised to use the alternative routes through Stony Hill, and to obey the posted warning signs and instructions of flag persons.
