Police reopen North Street, South Camp Road after noxious fume release

The police have reopened North Street and South Camp Road to vehicular traffic, after noxious fumes forced the closure of schools in proximity to the Central Sorting Office of the Post and Telecoms Department in Kingston.

Some students complained about burning sensation in the back of the throat and tightness of the chest.

Some of the schools affected by the noxious substance are Holy Trinity High School, Convent of Mercy ( Alpha Academy), Alpha Primary, St. George’s College, Kingston College, and Jessie Ripoll Primary.
