Two acres of ganja destroyed in St Mary

The Police destroyed more than two acres of ganja plants and seedlings in Fort George, Annotto Bay, St Mary today.

Reports from the Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division are that between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. lawmen destroyed two and a half acres of ganja, more than 5,000 seedlings and two huts during an operation.

No one was arrested in connection with this incident.

Investigations are ongoing.
