Former trustee in bankruptcy and former liquidator of Cash Plus Limited Hugh Wildman has hinted that there could be positive development for investors in the failed investment club. This morning, Wildman appeared at the Home Circuit Court trial of Carlos Hill asking for an adjournment. The attorney told the court that there is a development in his liquidation proceedings which could benefit investors. The Crown said it had no objection to the adjournment. The court then granted the application and rescheduled the trial to Monday. Carlos Hill is accused of fraudulently inducing persons to invest in a ponzi scheme. Cash Plus was placed into receivership in 2008, after the investment club went into bankruptcy. Since then Wildman has been seeking to recover funds for investors. This morning Director of Public Prosecutions Paula Llewellyn asked for certain particulars to be provided. She also said she would seek a warrant for the arrest of witnesses if they fail to show up in court.
