WESTERN BUREAU:
Caribbean Airlines (CAL) will now transfer the Fly Jamaica passengers who were displaced this morning at the Norman Manley International in Kingston because of a flight cancellation.

The passengers were originally scheduled to be accommodated on JetBlue.

The passengers, will be accommodated on BW006 today and BW016 and BW014 tomorrow, confirms CAL.

Fly Jamaica was forced to return to the gate at the Norman Manley International Airport this morning, 15 minutes in flight, because of a cracked windshield.

Some 56 passengers were enroute to New York, John F Kennedy airport.

It is not clear what caused the damage to the aircraft, however, it is a normal occurrence for birds to strike the windshield of an aircraft during flight.
