Police investigators in Clarendon are now looking for a woman, who is believed to be the mastermind behind the murder of 17-year-old student Tashana Lewin.
Lewin was killed last Saturday at her house in Woodside, Clarendon.
Three suspects, whose names are being withheld, have been taken into custody in relation to the killing.
A source at the May Pen police station told our news centre that two of the suspects have confessed to the crime and named the mastermind behind the shooting.
The source further said the suspects told investigators the woman is the mother of a man who is in custody in relation to the rape of the teenage girl.
The woman reportedly hired the suspects to carry out the murder.
It’s reported that Lewin was sexually molested sometime last year and following investigation a suspect was held recently.
The schoolgirl was scheduled to appear at an identification parade when her home was attacked by gunmen last Saturday.
Lewin was shot fatally and her father badly injured.
Investigators say they expect to charge the suspects later this week.
