ACB closes Montego Bay Branch

2013-03-07 17:20:36 | (0 Comments)

The Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) has temporarily closed its Montego Bay branch.

The head of the ACB, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Selvin Hay says the Montego Bay Branch is being closed to facilitate a management and operational audit.

The action comes one week after a corporal assigned to the ACB Montego Bay Branch eluded cops following a reported robbery in Westmoreland.

He has since surrendered to the police.

A Special Constable and a civilian have also been arrested in connection with the incident.
