West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) presidential candidate, Whycliffe ‘Dave’ Cameron says if elected he will attempt to transform the fortunes of the regional game.
The 42-year-old Jamaican businessman, who will go up against incumbent Dr Julian Hunte, made the disclosure during the unveiling of his manifesto yesterday. Cameron put forward five platforms in which he plans to manage. These include increased participation, human-resource management, operation, accountability, and responsibility. Cameron, who has been vice-president of the WICB for the past six years, also outlined in the manifesto his planned policies and programmes. The election for president will be held on March 27 in Barbados.
