The Papine-based University of Technology (UTech) has launched an investigation into a weekend incident in which a goal post reportedly fell on a student.
The male student is reportedly at the University Hospital of the West Indies nursing chest injuries. The circumstances under which Saturday's incident took place remain unclear. The education ministry had also noted that it is part of a committee exploring the options for the use of safer materials in the construction of goal posts.
